Golf Santo António
This golf course is perfectly framed in the surrounding natural landscape, next to the Costa Vicentina Natural Park. It is an 18-hole course, one of the most difficult in the Algarve, with steep slopes and narrow fairways.
Designed in a sustained and balanced way to the surrounding landscape, this course excels in demanding the environment, with generous and undulating greens and scenery of native flora, which translate into challenging obstacles. The course has a configuration that requires skill in the short game, as well as, refined putting technique.
This golf course, designed by Howard Swan, has 18 holes and offers excellent conditions for golfing. Here, it was possible to preserve the natural terrain and maintain great natural beauty, with stunning views over the Bay of Lagos.
27-hole course (18 + 9) strategically framed along the coast, with each hole having its own character and environment: native vegetation with pine and olive trees, narrow valleys and extensive sand dunes, not forgetting the ocean view Atlantic.
Morgado do Reguengo
18-hole course, Morgado is a more open, easier and more peaceful course in the region, as it is located inland (between Portimão and Monchique). It has extensive green spaces and generous fairways (800m2), lakes and bunkers strategically located.
Located in the northern part of Morgado do Reguengo Resort, this course features irregular and tight fairways and holes bordered by native trees. Putting precision is required to play the aggressive bunkers that exist throughout Par 71.
The Penina Hotel & Golf Resort is the origin of Portuguese golf. This offers three golf courses, in one space, one of which is the first 18-hole course to be built in the Algarve. It is a legendary golf course and one of the most challenging in the world, hosting the Portuguese Open for a dozen times.
Vale de Milho
This 9-hole par 3 course has a fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean in Carvoeiro. A challenging course for all levels of play, as it features long undulating greens, tall trees, lakes and bunkers.
